An Alternative Verse From Val

3rd July 2013

Val has a wonderful way with words, and can't help herself when it comes to animated verse. Even reading her own words gives her further ideas, as she did recently when she was looking at On The Banks Of Hatchet Pond.

She wondered if this would work equally as well, if not better, on page 13. I think we can all agree it would have been just as much fun either way:

The fish had hugely gaping mouth and empty rumbling belly,

poor Dizzy was so scared she lay there shaking like a jelly!
